What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Dixon Group Services LLC?
Dixon is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in West Chester, OH in our brand new, climate controlled facility! This individual will be responsible for transporting parts and components from their location to the appropriate station. In addition, this person will need to keep up with demand and supply stations consistently until work order is complete. Qualified candidates will also learn all areas of the receiving department so that they can be a back-up and well-rounded in everyday functions of the material handler for the factory. Responsibilities:
- Shipping, receiving, stocking, picking
- Operate fork life and pallet jack when needed
- Transport materials as directed
- Delivers materials to various departments and between plant locations
- Ensures work areas are kept clean and organized
- Performs miscellaneous duties as required
- Follows instructions and all safety procedures
Competencies:
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Forklift certified preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds during the course of a shift

Experience
Preferred- Previous warehouse/material handling experience
