Job Overview - Private Insurance
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 35 hrs/week
We are seeking a dedicated RBT with strong leadership skills to work with an 5-year-old male student in a school setting in Okeechobee, FL (34974). The RBT will work directly with the client to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
Experience
- Implement behavior management strategies as outlined in care plans.
- Collect and record data.
- Provide direct support to clients, assisting them in achieving their behavioral goals.
- Document and maintain accurate medical records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and adjust care plans based on client progress.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and independence.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to ethical standards of practice.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Must have a clear background check
- At least 2 years of experience as an RBT is a plus
- PCM Certified is a plus
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have all necessary in-services valid and up to date
- Prior experience working with children under the age of 12
- Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders preferred
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Willing to drive to client’s school to provide services
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members
Compensation: $30–$35/h, based on skills and experience
