Overview
We are seeking a full-time Mandarin or Spanish-speaking rotational nanny to join a busy family of five in Austin, Texas. The hired nanny will work a 7-day on/7-day off rotation, living in during the "on shift" and being available 24/7. If the children wake up in the middle of the night, the nanny will spring into action. This family loves adventure and travel, so the nanny should be ready for an exciting, hands-on role, flexible and eager to assist wherever needed.
The ideal candidate is warm and engaging, capable of creating age-appropriate activities for the children. A strong emphasis on "teaching" while ensuring the children have fun is essential. This position requires a nurturing individual who can seamlessly integrate into the family's dynamic and support their busy lifestyle.
- Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off; general hours include Monday-Thursday 4pm-10pm and Friday-Sunday all day

- Location: This is not a fly in/fly out role – note, the family will not consider this model. The hired candidate needs to be based in Austin or willing to relocate to Austin. Housing is only provided when the candidate is working. Candidates will find their own housing on their off weeks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a nanny or caregiver for young children
- Genuine love for children and a passion for helping them thrive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to our family's unique schedule and needs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must be fluent in either Spanish or Mandarin, in addition to English
- Comfortable with infant/toddler care and willing to support with evening shifts when needed
- Must be able to work on a W2 basis
- Local candidates will be prioritized
- Verifiable references from previous employers or clients required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Up to $120,000 per year | DOE
- $300 per month healthcare stipend
- 10 days of paid vacation and 48 hours of sick/personal leave - after 90 days of employment
- Extra compensation provided when working on holidays
