Senior Project Manager

Full-time professional position at Digital Management’s business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. Travel is not required for this position

Duties:

• Perform day-to-day management of information technology projects, identify issues and risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Act as a facilitator between a state agency and DMI subcontractors.
• Ensure that work performed under the task order is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget.
• Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide solutions to improve efficiency, e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels.
• Monitor issues and provide resolutions for up to date status reports.
• Demonstrate excellent writing and oral communications skills.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related Information Technology Project Manager position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.

Special Requirements: 3 years of verifiable experience performing information technology project management duties employing the following technical tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Backup server, Asana, Figma, Active Directory, Intune. Obtainment of Professional Scrum Master certification and SAFe 6.0 certification.
