Summary of Primary Functions:
This position is responsible for managing all whole goods equipment and attachments for Dobbs Equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all new machine and attachment ordering, according to required specifications
- Ensure attachment stocking levels are accurate and maintained
- Responsible for accurate daily inventory reporting
- Oversee and maintain accurate and timely on hold process
- Oversee all equipment and attachment inventory audits
- Ensure proper rental check IN/OUT procedures are being followed at the branch level
- Review rental, demo, loaner and hold requests for equipment as needed to facilitate the best use of company inventory/rental fleet equipment
- Oversight of transport costs and coordination of equipment as needed
- Assists with billing responsibilities as needed.
- Manage to aged inventory metrics by category
- Identify and accelerates the sale of aged inventory
- Oversee machine and attachment depreciation.
- Prepares daily queries and financial reports
- Assists the VP Sales Operations in specified duties in their absence.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Management experience
- Industry/Dealership experience
- Inventory/Rental/Sales experience
- Customer Service experience
- John Deere experience is preferred
Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma with previous experience in rental fleet management or related experience required. College degree is preferred.
- Management, organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
- The abilities to multi-task and prioritize are paramount.
- Computer skills need to be broad based.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools a must.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Environment:
