Job Title: Data Quality Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: 10 Months contract
Device (remote/Client Laptop/Client Laptop): Client issued laptop
Description
The services You will provide the client project team: As a Data Quality Architect Contractor, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across various systems and processes. Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures. Conduct data quality assessments and identify areas for improvement. Design and implement data cleansing and validation processes to maintain data integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality requirements are met and maintained. Monitor and report on data quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Primary Skill Required for the Role: SPARK
Level Required for Primary Skill: Advanced (6-9 years experience)
Additional Details For Role

Additional Details For Role
- This position emphasizes constructing Python- and SQL-based pipelines leveraging Spark/Databricks, modeling versioned action and reference data within Delta Lake, and integrating both batch and near real-time data flows with backend systems and decision engines through Kafka or comparable event streaming technologies.
- The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms (such as
data quality and observability. Familiarity with schema evolution, backward compatibility, and governance for shared data products is essential. This role requires close collaboration with backend, product, and analytics teams to ensure action data is accurate, well-governed, and scalable.
- Experience working within regulated or healthcare environments is considered an asset.
- Develop and maintain resilient data pipelines across state, action, decision, and analytics domains using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks.
- Design both batch and streaming workflows to address near-real-time and scheduled data processing needs.
- Implement and manage orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) to support data quality, reliability, and scalability.
