Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for the overall technical and administrative operation of the laboratory Blood Bank area. Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in Blood Bank, assists in instructing other personnel as assigned, and performs clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility. Assures that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

• Technologist Certification as defined by GDHR.
• Minimum of 5 years as a technologist.
• Previous laboratory supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated education, training, experience and technical abilities in the required areas of expertise Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all co-workers, staff, patients, patient families and vendors
• Proficient computer skills, i.e. ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs for writing procedures and creating reports.
• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Lab Scientist
