POSITION SUMMARY: The Training Specialist II for the Infusion Therapy Manager application promotes DSS Inc.’s mission by providing the highest level of care and training to our clients. Supports and trains our clients in the learning and use of our products and services. The candidate must have a distraction free remote environment to work from and will frequently travel to various facilities in the US and must live within 40 miles of a major airport. The ideal candidate is process orientated, has excellent time management skills, is extremely organized, understands technology and clinical workflow and is a quick learner. Candidate must have experience implementing medical software applications in a hospital setting. Experience with Infusion Management is preferred.
Essential Duties:
- Travel approximately 36 weeks per year to include weekends and holidays when necessary while abiding by DSS Employee Expense Compliance Agreement.
- Provide on-site training of the Infusion Therapy Management software applications and services to various user groups within hospital utilizing various training methodologies and complete proper documentation.
- Creates and modifies product configurations based on customer requirements.
- Provide testing and troubleshooting and follow through to resolution.
Other Duties:
- Works closely with the product team to troubleshoot and resolve technical or application issues to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Delivers product demonstrations to potential or existing clients as well as internal staff.
- Reviews application set up with appropriate staff.
- Responsible for verbal and written communication with clients and documentation of work activities and work processes.
- Abides by policies set forth in DSS and Departmental Handbook including Timesheet and Expense submissions.
- Create and maintain Training Documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Required:
- Understanding of clinical workflows
- Prior EMR / EHR implementation in a hospital setting
- Excellent listening skills and clear and concise presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, TEAMS)
- Aptitude for understanding technical processes and the ability to learn new software as needed
- Hands on clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Desired
- Prior experience working with Providers, Infusion Clinic Staff, Pharmacists, Nurses
- Fluent in the terminology used in the technical specialty that the product has been designed to support.
- Ability to analyze, comprehend and apply information/data
Education:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Equivalent experience or combination of education and experience considered
- Desired:
- Professional training in a medical discipline
