What you'll do

As a member of the Developer Marketing team, you will be responsible for building a compelling narrative, communicating value and increasing sales effectiveness for DocuSign's developer offerings. You will develop go-to-market strategy, messaging and positioning, enable our field teams with content, create assets and tools aligned to customer needs in various stages of the sales cycle, and collaborate with product teams to drive impact and product adoption. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Development, and key stakeholders to ensure appropriate operational cadence, review and alignment to support the growth of our developer offerings.


This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Developer Marketing and is designated as Flex.

Responsibility

  • Own the positioning, messaging, and value propositions of DocuSign's Developer offerings
  • Create, lead, manage, and measure product marketing and lead generation initiatives to showcase the value of DocuSign's developer products and capabilities
  • Partner with our product evangelism and community team to foster a thriving developer friendly ecosystem
  • Create deliverables that make it easier for developers to find the information they need and try and buy the services they want
  • Partner with Demand Generation to define market segmentation and campaign strategy
  • Lead efforts to create a consistent drum beat of high impact assets required to execute
  • Work with Business Development to ensure that our key ecosystem partners have the messaging, content and tools they need to be successful channel partners
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure that content, tools, and other product marketing assets are effectively deployed to, and used by, the field
  • Support strategic customer and internal events (e.g., customer and partner conferences, sales meetings) by owning development of presentations, sessions and training
  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure that new products and functionality are featured, packaged, priced, launched, and communicated effectively

What you bring

Basic

  • 8 years SaaS marketing experience with a mix of product marketing, technical marketing, community building, and content marketing
  • 2 years experience marketing products to the developer persona
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred

  • Self-starter who can drive cross functional initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to understand and simplify complex, technical topics for non-technical audiences

This position is not eligible for employment in the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Based on legislation in Colorado, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado pay range: $115,800 - $163,575 base salary


Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in New York City only: New York City pay range: $123,600 - $174,525 base salary

Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in Washington only: Washington pay range: $115,800 - $174,525 base salary

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in California only: California pay range: $123,600 - $202,550 base salary
