Job Description
Position Title: Academic Interventionist
Department: Schools
Pay Grade: $30 an hr.
Retirement: N/A
Contract Work Year: Part Time 15 hours per week (36 weeks) M-F (3 hrs. per day)
Reports to: School Administrators
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Certified Teacher
GOAL
The interventionist will work with the school administration to serve students in accordance with school, district, state, and federal guidelines.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide tutoring and additional instructional support for all academic subjects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide interventions in math/reading for targeted students for a total of 15-20 hours per week.
2. Create measurable goals and progress monitor students on a regular basis
3. Participate in RTI meetings as needed
4. Communicate with teachers and parents on a regular basis about student's progress
5. Develop and follow daily lesson plans
6. Maintain a daily time sheet for each day worked
