Position Overview:

Doetsch Broward is seeking to add a success driven and experienced Project Manager to our rapidly expanding organization. The Project Manager role is a leadership level position which is directly responsible for managing field installations, corollary crews and sourcing of required materials for all assigned projects. Candidate Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial glass and glazing with 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Construction Management is preferred
• Previous experience reading architectural and structural BluePrints, familiarity with Florida Building Code and NOA/FL product approval requirements, and the capability of schedule development to ensure projects are completed on time and in full
• Previous experience communicating with clients at all levels
• Previous experience managing field performance relative to estimated material and labor usage
• Exceptional employee management and customer relation skills to acquire and develop installation team members and ensure healthy professional relationships with our GC clients
• Technical knowledge in all aspects of project management and commercial glass installation including; GDS software, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Project, Business Operations and Financial Acumen
• The desire to work in a professional company that offers extensive training and development with a structured career path

Recent Projects:

• Canon North American Regional Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL - Consisted of glazing a 135,000 sq. ft. office space – included 6,000 sq. ft. of frameless glass partitions, 48 Herculite doors, and almost 500 sq. ft. of storefront. This space is now the flagship of South Florida’s second largest office building – the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, totaling 1.1 million sq. ft. of office space.
• Otis Elevator Headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL - Frameless glass partitions and 33 Herculite doors with approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of glass.
• Northbridge 5th Floor Renovation in downtown West Palm Beach, FL. 38 office partitions all with Herculite doors. Also included a beautiful elevator lobby with all white back-painted glass.
• Matrix 100 and 200 in Coral Springs, FL - Two floors of 34 interior framed office partitions and narrow stile storefront doors with concealed closers – all of which was custom fabricated.
• World’s second largest jewelry mall being built in downtown Miami includes more than 21,000 sq. ft. of interior frameless glass partitions, 118 Herculite doors and a few hundred linear feet of frameless railings.
• Multiple various projects, large and small that include the following scopes of work: Frameless Glass, Impact Storefront, Interior Storefront/Framed Partitions, All-Glass Entrances, Mirrors, Railings, Folding/Moveable Glass Walls (Lanai, NanaWall, etc.) Operable Residential Windows, Sliding Glass Doors (Frameless Laguna Series), Frameless Showers.
