Dog Boarding At The Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for one assistant manager in training to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 401 Tyner St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entirety of your shift
- Oversee overall operations of the facility
- Oversee deep cleaning of the facility
- Train and educate kennel assistants
- Ability to feed all of the animals in our care and administer medications
- Organize and encourage scheduled staff
- Assist with group play management
- Assist with bathing and nail trims
- Assist with the enrichment of the dogs in our care
- Assist with excellent customer service and communication
- Weekends and Holidays required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in the animal care field
- Minimum 6 months management experience
- Experience with bathing, teeth, nails and ears
- Experience feeding and administering medication
- Training courses on behavior/signs of aggression/signs of stress
- Dog Handling Experience
- Open availability
- Over 18
