What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boarding Assistant position at Doggie Spa & Day Care, Inc.?
Do you love dogs?
Can you tell dogs apart from one another in a group setting?
Do you have experience caring for social and non-social dogs?
Are you capable of following feeding and medication instructions flawlessly?
Do you love to clean and sanitize?
Are you mature and responsible in your decisions, but also have a great sense of humor?
Are you okay with picking up lots and lots of dog poop?
Can you work in all kinds of weather, lift heavy bags of dog food and awkward, floppy, or oversized items (like huge dog beds)?
Are you willing to work with a small collection of human coworkers?
Are you capable with computers and able to present as personable and helpful with human clients?
Are you available to work from 7:00am to 11:00am and then from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, all on the same day? (It’s a great schedule if you love naps!)
Are you willing and able to work weekends and holidays?

Please note that this is a permanent, long-term position, and is NOT an after-school job. Holiday availability is mandatory. Please be sure to check our location before you apply. Our split days means you will be driving back and forth more than you would with most jobs. Starting pay may be negotiable with experience.
Doggie Spa is a small boarding facility, in business since 1998. Our primary focus is making dogs happy and providing excellent care. We do this work because we love happy dogs.

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
