Doggie Style Pets is seeking a full-time Customer Service Associate at our Cinnaminson NJ location
We have been providing quality pet products, healthy foods, and friendly service to Philadelphians for over 15 years. We have since grown to thirteen Stores in Philadelphia, one store in Bala Cynwyd, PA, and 2 in New Jersey & are currently expanding.
Our employees know that pets are family, and that we are trusted advisors to our customers. Doggie Style Pets is dedicated to making the lives of people and animals better!
Besides our charitable donations, we provide space in all our stores for adoptable pets. We believe there is a home for everyone where they can play and work.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming environment in the store
- Providing high-level customer service
- Scheduling, reviewing, & seeking documentation for grooming clients
- Caring for our adoption animals which includes cleaning up animal feces and urine, walk animals safely, and keep their living quarters clean and odor free.
- The ability to do retail math and correctly use a register
- Opening or closing the store – this is a key holding position
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
- Attending monthly product training
- Arriving on time and ready to work
- Adhering to our handbook and safety protocols
- Completing operational tasks as assigned by the Store Support Manager
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable phone etiquette
- Has a keen interest in Dog and Cats and a strong desire to learn
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- The ability to go above and beyond for customers
- The ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift 40lbs
- Excellent attendance
