What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Dollar Star?
We are looking for a hands on assistant managers in our Hollywood store, in Young Circle, who can provide excellent customer service. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Must be willing to move boxes that weigh 40lbs or less and go up and down a ladder
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure shelves and racks are fully stocked
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Key turning responsibility is a plus, but we can train
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
