**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes - Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment - Take customer orders, handle cash transactions, and operate the POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and resolving complaints - Upsell products and promote specials to customers **Skills:** - Experience in cash handling and working with POS systems - Proficiency in food handling and knowledge of food safety regulations - Understanding of retail math principles for inventory management - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to work efficiently in a team environment - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating orders accurately - Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and latte art is a plus - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with operating a cash register for processing payments Join our team as a Barista to showcase your passion for coffee, interact with customers, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere in our cafe.
