What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUTO BODY PORTER position at Don's Body Shop?
This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 8 am -5 pm with some overtime required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Wash interior/exterior vehicles.
- Arrange and move vehicles on the property or in the repair shop.
- Move, lock, secure vehicles, lock gates, and shut down air compressor at close of the business day.
- Some errands, running vehicles around.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS
- Must enjoy working around cars and trucks and have good customer service skills.
- Be physically fit to lift, bend, and work with vehicles as needed.
- Be willing to work as a team player.
- Must be able to multi-task and maintain a safe work environment.
- Dependable and Punctual.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A high school education or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- The ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Overtime is required periodically.
