As a Housing Locator, you will assist clients in navigating the housing market while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and preferences to identify suitable housing options.
- Research and maintain an up-to-date database of available properties within the market.
- Communicate effectively with landlords, property managers, and clients to facilitate successful housing placements.
- Provide guidance on real estate law and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance throughout the housing search process.
- Assist clients in completing necessary paperwork and documentation related to housing applications.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to enhance support for clients in need of housing assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, property listings, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within real estate or property management settings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and real estate law is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse client populations.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and market trends within the housing sector is advantageous.
