Overview
Dothan Country Club is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled bartender/server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. All positions starting pay is $10 an hour and are also tipped employees.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during busy periods, including banquets.
- Uphold high standards of customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items and increase revenue.
- Previous fine dining experience is preferred, along with knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Background in the food industry, including banquet experience, is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
