Description
DoubleLine is seeking a highly energetic and motivated analyst to join the CMBS/CRE team. The candidate will play an integral role in all aspects of the CMBS and CRE loan investment and asset management processes.
Job Functions
- Analyze, underwrite and evaluate CMBS and CRE loan opportunities
- Integrally involved with all aspects of the investment process including: evaluating potential investments; cash flow underwriting and financial analysis; performing due diligence; and managing and reviewing legal documentation
- Provide analytical and trading support to the CMBS/CRE team
- Reviewing, interpreting and summarizing mortgage loan documents, real estate leases, ground leases and other legal documents
- Interfacing with sales and leasing brokers, appraisers, property managers, tax/legal and other market participants
- Drafting investment committee memos, presentations and other reports
- Assist with the ongoing monitoring and surveillance of the existing CMBS and CRE loan portfolio
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in commercial real estate and/or CMBS, preferably from a leading real estate credit fund, investment bank or private equity firm
- Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Argus experience is a plus, but not required
- Candidate must be detail oriented with strong work ethic and unquestioned integrity
- Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills
Base Salary
The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
