1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the Director of Finance.
2 PURPOSE
2.1 Function
2.1.1 Manages the planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of information systems, and directs telecommunications;
2.2 Authority
2.2.1 From Director of Finance, directs IS function throughout
organization.
2.2.2 Manages IT/IS employees.
3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Ensure the organization uses technology to remain competitive;
3.2 Ensures hardware and software are current, up to date, and support the business;
3.3 Constructs the information services business plan;
3.4 Plan, coordinate and direct research into upgrades and maintenance;
3.5 Direct the work of Information Services Engineers. This includes installation and upgrading of hardware and software, programming and systems design, development of computer networks, and design of website;
3.6 Stays abreast of latest technology to ensure proper information flow throughout the organization;
3.7 Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and deliver them.
3.8 Direct daily operation of department. Analyze work flow, establish priorities, develop standards and set deadlines;
3.9 Review and approve all technology requests. Control budget.
3.10 Other duties as assigned.
4 MEASUREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
4.1 Accomplishment of set goals, including documentation, organization, and timeliness;
4.2 Performance in areas of responsibility (including internal audit performance);
4.3 Problem solving accomplishments;
4.4 Effectiveness of customer support.
Requirements
5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
5.1 This position manages IS User Support Technicians and IT/IS Administrators.
5.2 Responsible for maintaining all modules of Infor ERP system software.
5.3 Manages IT Helpdesk. Ensures timely resolution of queries.
5.4 Provides guidance and training on information security process controls, and compliance. Identifies and educates on potential risks (cyber, email, and other IT/IS threats).
6 WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment.
7 QUALIFICATIONS
7.1 High school diploma or equivalent.
7.2 Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. (Strongly Preferred)
7.3 5 years of manufacturing experience.
7.4 4-5 years of I-Series/AS400 experience, Infor ERP Systems Knowledge
preferred.
7.5 Ability to Manage multiple projects at one time.
7.6 Customer Service and Negotiation skills.
7.7 Proficient in Microsoft server and networking.
7.8 Good communication skills, both oral and written.
7.9 Developed leader and trainer;
7.10 Team player and model employee.
8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the responsibilities of the Information Systems Manager’s job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, talk and hear, to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
This position regularly requires extended hours and possible weekend work.
10 TRAVEL
Travel required to other locations, training, or for other work related duties.
