SUMMARY : This person will be part of the team responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and tracking key performance metrics for a NYSE listed REIT. This individual will work closely with the Manager of FP &A, Vice President of FP&A, and other key business stakeholders.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepare and analyze quarterly materials including financial analysis, office and residential leasing statistics, and market data for internal and external reporting.
Assist with the forecasting and budgeting processes for office and residential properties
Review and analyze monthly budget variances and other key performance metrics
Assist in all other FP &A responsibilities and other special projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
0-2 years experience related experience
Prior work experience in finance or accounting, preferably in real estate industry
Demonstrates ability and motivation to learn quickly
Highly proficient in Excel. Experience with MRI is a plus
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
Ability to establish and effectively manage relationships with company stakeholders
Self-motivated enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment under tight deadlines
Strong organization and time management skills to permit managing multiple projects at once
