What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Coordinator position at DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital?
DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a Financial Coordinator to join our hospital support team.
As a Financial Coordinator, you will be responsible for auditing client charges and communicating cost estimates and payment options to clients. This position also monitors other hospital-related financial aspects such as employee discounts and invoices for our community fund recipients (such as our Stray and Wildlife program and our low-income assistance programs). This role works closely with the doctors and client service representatives, includes heavy client communication and is a comprehensive resource on the hospital floor for questions regarding charges and payment policies.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience or education equivalent to an Associate Degree in accounting or other related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in customer service with customer accounts in relation to collections, accounts receivable, or financial planning.
- Minimum of one year experience in a veterinary facility and familiarity with veterinary terminology, medications, and procedures highly desired.
- A suitable combination of education, industry training, and experience may substitute.
Hourly rate: $18-19/hour
