Who You Are
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial, business-minded, and innovative clinician to join the strategy team as our Senior Clinical Advisor. This critical role requires extensive telehealth experience and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly within small clinics and independent mental and behavioral health practices. You will provide strategic clinical guidance to ensure that our telemedicine platform continues to lead the industry in delivering innovative, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with teams across the organization, including growth, sales, product, and market intelligence, to drive clinical excellence, thought leadership, and market success in the evolving telehealth landscape.
This position can be either full-time or part-time, allowing the candidate to continue working as a care provider in a clinical setting.

What You’ll Do
- Clinical Thought Leadership and Marketing:
- Partner with the growth and marketing teams to create impactful content that establishes doxy.me as a leader in telehealth.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership materials, including white papers, blogs, webinars, and presentations, to engage with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders.
- Represent doxy.me at telehealth industry events, conferences, and in media as a clinical expert and thought leader.
- Sales Support:
- Join sales calls and meetings as the telehealth clinical expert to help close deals and ensure potential customers understand the clinical value of doxy.me's platform.
- Provide insights and guidance to the sales team on how to effectively communicate the clinical benefits of our telehealth solutions to prospective clients.
- Customer Engagement and Workflow Optimization:
- Work with current customers to understand their telehealth workflows and help them optimize the use of doxy.me's platform in their practice.
- Provide clinical insights and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure that our solutions meet their evolving telehealth needs.
- Business and Market Intelligence Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the business and market intelligence teams to interpret telehealth market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Use these insights to inform strategic decisions and guide the development of new telehealth solutions.
- Product Innovation and Development:
- Work closely with the product team to create new products and features that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients in the telehealth space.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new clinical solutions that align with the company's mission and market demand.
- Clinical Education and Research Oversight:
- Contribute to doxy.me product education and research activities, ensuring that they align with the company's product goals
- Contribute to the creation of CME telehealth content and participate in telehealth research initiatives that support the ongoing development of telehealth best practices.
- Strategic Leadership:
- As a member of the strategy team, contribute to the overall strategic direction of doxy.me.
- Provide clinical guidance to the senior leadership team, ensuring that clinical considerations are integrated into the company's telehealth growth and product strategies.
- Advise on company strategy and prioritization, particularly focusing on the needs of small clinics and independent mental and behavioral health practices.
- Report directly to the Head of Strategy, providing regular updates on clinical strategy and its impact on the business.
- Clinician Advisory Board and External Relationships:
- Establish and lead the clinician advisory board, ensuring that doxy.me's products and strategies are informed by leading clinical expertise.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with healthcare professional organizations to ensure doxy.me remains at the forefront of industry developments and standards.
- Serve as the external clinical face of doxy.me, representing the company in interactions with the broader healthcare community and industry partners.
- A clinical doctorate (MD, DO, or Clinical PhD) is required; board certification in a medical specialty is preferred.
- Extensive experience in telehealth, with a deep understanding of virtual care workflows, clinical practices, and patient care in a remote setting.
- Proven experience in a strategic role within a telehealth or healthcare technology company, preferably in SaaS.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive innovation and create new business opportunities within the telehealth space.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate clinical knowledge into actionable business strategies and marketing content within the telehealth space.
- Solid grasp of the healthcare industry, including specialties, practices, workflows, and tendencies of healthcare providers and organizations, particularly in small clinics and independent mental and behavioral health practices.
- Experience in customer engagement and workflow optimization in a telehealth setting.
- A track record of thought leadership in telehealth, including published articles, speaking engagements, and industry recognition.
- Ability to analyze telehealth market trends and data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Experience conducting clinical education and research activities is highly desirable.
- Experience using doxy.me in clinical practice is a plus.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professional organizations and advisory boards.
