Job Summary
Adult- Internal Medicine Practice is seeking a Medical Assistant (seasoned or newly certified) to join our team! The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in patient care, attention to detail, teamwork, punctuality, and accountability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. We support our MA's pursuing higher education; PART-TIME positions are available!
Responsibilities
- Prepare for the patient visit by pulling lab/imaging results, as well as setting up medical equipment
- Room patient to include starting note in EMR and complete testing as ordered
- Clean equipment, and exam rooms after use
- Assist in monitoring phone/texting system and field questions about medical issues to Physician
- Assist Physician and PA with basic medical care and procedures
- Strictly Adhere to all HIPAA and Cybersecurity guidelines
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS Certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Punctuality and Attendance

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal oversight
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
