The Resident Ambassador must provide building residents with an exceptional level of service and attention while also assisting the Building Manager with the day-to-day operations of the property. This position requires strong communication skills and a personable demeanor. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude are also crucial. This position is located in Gold Coast, Chicago, Illinois.
Schedule
- Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday: 8:30AM-5:30PM
- Wednesday: 10:00AM-7:00PM
Responsibilities
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with outside parties and businesses that will be able to provide benefits for residents.
- Plan resident events and follow budgeted guidelines in doing so.
- Provide back-up assistance to Property Manager in A/R, A/P and other various operational tasks
- Develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products.
- Support the residents by providing the following:
- Arrange for dry cleaning pick-up and delivery
- Package acceptance and coordinating deliveries
- Book travel arrangements and dinner reservations
- Arrange event tickets
- Provide tourist and city information as well as driving, walking, and CTA directions
- Arrange for pet sitting and walking services
- Arrange for other services, i.e. watering plants, booking cabs, limos, and other transportation services; maid service; personal research; key date reminder service
- Conduct all business in accordance with the Draper & Kramer’s policies and procedures, fair housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
- Enhancing and communicating the Draper & Kramer and property brand to persons outside of the company. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
- Assist in conducting property tours and completing the leasing process on an as-needed basis
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a luxury or 5-Star customer service environment
- Exceptional communication, customer service and people skills
- Outgoing, friendly personality
- Good organizational skills, follow-up and follow through
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Self-motivated; can work independently
- Basic typing and computer skills including ability to find information on the Internet
- Leasing License or must be able to obtain in 120 days
- Yardi experience a plus
- High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation
- Hourly range for this position: $19.00-$28.00
- Leasing Commissions
- Eligible for quarterly and year-end bonuses
