Cosmetologist

Dream In Pink Salon has expanded!! I am a Double Salon Suite Boutique in East Hanover, NJ. I am seeking a skilled and dedicated Artist to join my team as a licensed commission hairstylist. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the beauty industry, have the ability to provide exceptional customer service, and should be a proffesional with a poloished look, and preferably with a clientele base. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, a STRONG work ethic, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. LOOKING FOR COMMISSION BASED, NEGOTIABLE 30-45%

**Responsibilities**

- Provide a wide range of beauty services, including haircuts, styling care, and haircoloring applications

-MUST HAVE current New Jersey Cosmetologist License, and a minimum of 3 years experience cutting, coloring, and in a salon environment (not including time assisting)

-Must be passionate about your artistry, continuing education, and creating beautiful hair

- Desire for a new salon to call home

-Excellent comminicaton skills, with luxury verbage

-Ability to positively habdle clents questions and concerns

-STRONG work ethic, self motivated, and abe to initiate tasks without reminders, outgoing, energentic & able tp keep up with fast paced environment

- Perform various treatments, such as deep conditioning treatments, to enhance clients' appearance or texture services for curl, or to straighten and smooth

- Utilize Gloss Genius to manage appointments, client information, inventory, and Scheduling

- Offer sales and retail opportunities to clients, promoting the latest beauty products

-Ability to Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty and to build and maintain a strong client relationship

- Ability to Maintain a clean and organized Station and work area, welcoming clients and handling administrative tasks, and performing salon side duties as a team.

- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and professional atmosphere

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, attending training sessions and workshops as necessary

**Skills**

- Experience in barbering and Salon hair care

- Proficiency with Gloss Genius software

-Ability to work well in a team atmosphere but also individually

- Knowledge of treatments and products

- Strong sales and customer service skills

- Ability to manage appointments and client information

- Familiarity with salon spa operations

- Experience in a front desk setting

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing education and training.

-Helping with Salon duties to keep everyone running smoothly.

PAY will be COMMISION BASED with a sliding scale 38% - 48% with retail incentives to pump the weekly pay.

Schedule to be discussed at interview, must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
