Summary
The Housekeeping House Attendant will be responsible for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties for delivering items to guest room, assisting room attendants, and cleaning guest rooms.
Qualifications
- Deliver service items to guest rooms upon request
- Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
- Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
- Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, foyers, and other public areas
- Cleaning and resetting guest bedroom and bathroom areas
- Greet all guests with a friendly smile
- Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
- Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the Hotel’s standards
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
