What are the responsibilities and job description for the RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) position at Dreaming Out Loud, LLC?
We are a growing company and are heavily invested in the professional growth of our staff.
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) positions generally require staff availability during afternoon and evening hours, however, morning and weekend hours are also available pending on client availability. We primarily operate Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm, however, weekend sessions are also available to those who want to work on the weekends but it is not mandatory to do so.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or related disabilities
- RBT Certification and Nevada Licensure has already been obtained or will be obtained within 60 days of employment
- Ability to work with families and children with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and economic status
- Basic computer skills. Ability to type and use programs such as Microsoft Word & Excel
- Current driver’s license and access to personal transportation
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes
- Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States and eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a local and federal background check (including fingerprinting)
- Must be available to work afternoons and evenings (after school hours)
Job Duties:
- Provide 1 on 1 intensive ABA Therapy in the homes of clients (there will be some center-based sessions as well)
- Follow behavior-oriented teaching programs and protocols, specific to each client
- Keep a consistent schedule with assigned families & clients
- Complete required training as provided by the employer
- Maintain RBT Certification and NV Licensure
- Collect and maintain appropriate behavior data
- Complete all other required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, training, and other required meetings
- Complete all additional job duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor
- RBTs are responsible for the implementation and tracking of individual treatment plans and daily goals of children with ASD under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
