Responsibilities/Qualifications:
National homebuilder with a superb reputation as a leader and innovator in the industry is seeking Land Project Managers for our the Midwest Land Division.

This position is responsible for conducting and managing the bidding, budgeting, contracting, engineering, permit processing, scheduling and, site development in order to deliver finished lots on time and within budget. A Land Project Manager supports the acquisition, planning, and engineering of new ground for development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Generate land development and home construction schedules
  • Manage the construction drawings and provide input to the Development Specialist
  • Manage land development field operations and act as a liaison between the field and corporate offices
  • Manage and meet with all active civil and geotechnical engineers and active consultants
  • Coordinate placement, delivery and furnishing of construction trailers
  • Interface and manage issues relating to city/county Planning, Public Works, Engineering and Buildings departments as well as issues raised by neighboring property owners
  • Oversee construction of entry monuments, landscaping and amenities
  • Prepare and review various reports
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Highly motivated and self-managed

  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with various land development professionals
  • Takes ownership of job responsibilities
  • Adaptable and capable of adjusting strategies
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, accounting, finance, real estate or related field
  • Strong background in project management
  • Experience in engineering and/or land development
  • Familiarity with regulatory process and a demonstrated ability to navigate the process, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
The typical schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
