The Opportunity Our Project Superintendent will facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all services required to rapidly return customer's property to pre-loss condition, minimizing repairs and downtime following property damage. The omission of specific job functions or tasks does not absolve an employee from being required to perform additional tasks incidental to or inherent in this position.
- Uses industry software to manage residential and commercial water, fire, wind and mold restoration projects
- Bids projects with enough detail to provide accurate budgets and purchase orders
- Supervises, monitors, and revises all activities associated with the projects and its successful completion by bringing the project in or below budget
- Monitors job cost reports for assigned projects
- Prepares and helps determine schedules for manpower utilization and materials delivered to site
- Tracks and monitors progress while correcting and mitigating any deviations
- Creates and updates project schedules
- Manages vendor installations, scopes of work and contract adherence
- Assists in controlling excessive costs and waste throughout each project
- Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions
- Respects and maintains confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information
The Person For our Project Superintendent role we are looking for someone who can create high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding their expectations and fulfilling the company's contractual obligations through the timely and profitable delivery of restoration services. Below is a list of the experience and skill sets that we look for in our Project Superintendents.
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Project Management, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction/restoration industry in progressively challenging roles, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Knowledge of industry software and platforms: Xactimate, Contractor Connection, PSA and other similar programs
- Principles and practices of budget preparation, administration, financial management, revenue collection, auditing, controllership, reconciliation and balancing
- Restoration industry language, practices and terminology
