Driver’s Village is looking for an HR Specialist to join our Human Resources Team.

The Human Resource Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Human Resources staff. Their role will include serving as a contact between the HR Department and the rest of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Conduct pre-screening interviews.
- Leads recruiting efforts; seeks, conducts, and participates in recruitment events and activities including job fairs.
- Identifying company’s hiring needs and managing the recruitment process. Work extensively with Managers to identify their needs.
- Assists candidates as needed with the completion of onboarding steps.
- Collaborate with HR Assistant in all aspects of recruitment and onboarding.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the interview process and into the hiring process
- Composes and posts external job postings.
- Administers the new hire pre-employment processes, and efficiently manages onboarding
- Responsible for updating candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process.
- Use social networking platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, really to drive traffic to our website.
- Seek candidates using extensive searching techniques, social media, networking, state agencies, professional associations, and employee referral programs.
- Assists with reporting and recruitment metrics
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in excel and google docs and sheets.
Experience in Human Resources would be a plus. This role has the opportunity to grow with our company.
This full-time position will typically work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, however some flexibility is desired for occasional special events.

Salary : $43,700 - $55,300
