We are currently seeking candidates for our Dayton, Ohio location for:
Machinist -Lathe Operator - All shifts!
Base Off Shift Incentive – Flexible Schedules
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate complex, precision jobs with minimal supervision
- CNC Programming, Editing and Set Up A PLUS
- Hold size and profile tolerances within .0002
- Perform first piece in process inspection using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges and dial gauges
- Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education and experience required
- 1-3 years of CNC with operation or machining experience
- Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus
