The impact you will have in this role :

The Strategic Management & Governance family is responsible for serving as a dedicated technology resource for advancing the firm's business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for leveraging new technologies. Manages significant programs and projects including strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, and all general business management initiatives.

The Lead Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams..

Your Primary Responsibilities :

• Produce functional specifications by analyzing business requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams
• Lead workflow design and contribute to user experience design, where applicable
• Collaborate with project team, product management, and stakeholders on assigned aspects of the project
• Review estimates of resource needs and schedule of work with related stakeholders
• Provide guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details required through all phases of projects
• Provide input to developers and Test Engineers to ensure System Integration and User Acceptance Test scripts properly reflect business and functional requirements
• Participate in reviews of SIT results and defect reviews; support user acceptance testing as needed
• Contribute to system documentation under company-specific best practices and standards
• Recommend controls by identifying gaps and designing solutions to automate manual processes
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Talents needed for Success:

• 6 years of IT experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
• Familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms
• Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools - Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
• Solid experience in writing the SQL queries.
• Work with multiple Stakeholders to capture their functional requirement in the JIRA board
• Assist Testing team in providing various data from operational system.
• When applicable, creates documentation for stakeholders and/or provide information for others to create documentation
• Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Familiarity with GSD & MBSD products
• High level understanding of Market Risk.

• Clear communicator, with good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and focus on most urgent tasks & work in a fast-paced IT environment
• Proficient MS Office skills
• Knowledge of system functionality to be able to engage in discussion with the squad
• Not afraid to ask many questions, push back, or raise attention to risks or issues
• A flexible, and proactive approach to track down resources to gather appropriate information
• Innovative (to leverage variability)
• Comfortable working closely with team management to review approaches and requirements that solve the business problem
