Being a member of the Information Technology Group, the Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the main interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams.
Job Responsibilities:- Validate functional specifications by analyzing business requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams
- Lead workflow design and contribute to user experience design, where applicable
- Collaborate with project team, product management, and collaborators on all aspects of the project
- Validate estimates of resource needs and schedule of work with related stakeholders
- Provide guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details required through all phases of projects
- Review input provided to developers and Test Engineers ensuring System Integration and User Acceptance Test scripts properly reflect business and functional requirements
- Participate in reviews of SIT results and defect reviews; support user acceptance testing as needed
- Review system documentation to ensure compliance with company-specific best practices and standards
- Review recommended controls to ensure remediation of perceived risks
- Validate justification and ROI related to solutions designed to automate manual processes

Talents Needed For Success:- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 8 years of progressive software systems implementation and support, business systems process analysis and design, domain to include two years lead/supervisory experience
- Drive project management activities including but not limited to project planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, business needs traceability, change requests processing, issue resolution, issue escalation, status reporting and lessons learned.
- Facilitate sessions for gathering Functional and Non-Functional requirements with extensive experience in conducting Current State, Future State, Business Process Analysis and Gap Analysis
- Practical experience with different software development Methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile.
- Serves as a trusted coach or mentor within the organization.
- Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.

The IT SIFMU Delivery Department supports core Clearing and Settlement application delivery for DTC, NSCC and FICC. The department also develops and supports Asset Services, Wealth Management & Insurance Services and Master Reference Data applications.
