Job Summary

Helps identify and evaluate business process problems and objectives. Supports analysis of operational data by collecting, monitoring, and studying business trends and recommended actions. Supports and develops standards to improve performance. Span of control: 0; individual contributor

Key Accountabilities

  • Improves operations by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends; presents and provides recommendations Benchmarks other companies and industries to compare and measure performance guidelines
  • Identifies process improvements to increase productivity by analyzing alternative solutions and automating applications
  • Documents and develops solutions by describing and creating work-flowcharts, diagrams, and writing improved procedures
  • Prepares and creates operational performance reports to ensure maintenance and compliance policies and procedures are met
  • Supports IT projects and functional system applications to help improve system functionality
  • Supports project plans to ensure tasks are performed to meet deadlines
  • Supports the facilitation and implementation of events or meetings with internal or external customers and business partners
  • Helps administer contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures by ensuring the appropriate documentation is compiled and secured for payment
  • Resolves material and service quality issues, including electronic filing of source documents
  • Supports operations personnel to identify root causes and resolve discrepancies with service delays and issues, data quality, materials stuck in transit, in and out bound freight issues and inventory accuracy issues
  • Develops reports and tracks performance activities to support functional business partners by monitoring and publishing metrics


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Other Qualifications

Preferred:
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering and/or Economics


Other Requirements:

  • Strong initiative and decision-making skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while building strong relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
