What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jury Research Coordinator position at Dubin Research & Consulting (DRC)?
Dubin Research & Consulting (DRC) is the nation’s leading trial consulting firm headquartered in New York City. We specialize in crafting winning trial strategies for attorneys through applied psychology, our innovative information design processes, our proven techniques in Jury/Judge persuasion, and our acclaimed research methodology. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage and prioritize each department’s heavy workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling
- Draft deliverables schedules, create and maintain individual trackers for project deadlines.
- Maintain a DRC shared calendar with the latest focus groups, trial dates, and hearings for clients.
- Create an on-call schedule when necessary.
- Contact Focus Group facilities for availability and manage holds.
- Schedule large-scale meetings with clients, including focus group summits and analysis meetings.
- Coordinate logistics and schedule project kick-off meetings with clients and judges.
Team Assignments
- Assist the Directors of Litigation Strategy with attorney scheduling.
- Keep track of which attorneys are on what projects and their immediate availability.
- Monitor team project status through departments.
- Track budgets.
Client Proposals and Engagement Letters
- Coordinate and assist with drafting proposals.
- Ensure proposals are sent on time.
- Expedite follow-up communications between the client and management.
- Schedule pitch meetings.
- Draft engagement letters.
Communication
- Develop and implement a project tracking system.
- Ensure departments are aware of key deadlines and upcoming projects.
- Manage “Status Update” and “Proposal Tracker” on a regular basis.
- Attend weekly management meetings, take notes, and send updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or Trello
- Legal or litigation industry experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
