What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Line Cleaner Charleston/North Charlesto position at DuBose Cleaning?
We are looking for an experienced Cleaner/Janitor . We are hoping to find a reliable and skilled person who understands the importance of this position.
The person should have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and poses both a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our buildings tidy and very well-organized, we expect from our f Cleaner/Janitor to take responsibility for helping us achieve this.
Responsibilities of a Cleaner/Janitor:
- Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
- Gathering and emptying indoor trash
- Clean, service and resupply restrooms
- Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors)
- Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
- Clean building floors by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming them
- Clean, polish office tables, chairs, desks and all other furniture used in the office or the entire building
- Clean windows, doors, glasses and mirrors with soapy water, sponge and any other necessary cleaning substance
- Make minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems in a building
- Maintain the supply and equipment needed for cleaning duties
- Make sure that waste bins are emptied to avoid trash littering around
- Restock or resupply restroom papers and make sure the toilet is in a good condition
Job Type: Part-time. Full-time, Weekends
Salary: $13.00 - $14.25 per hour
