We prefer if you have prior experience, however it is mandatory that you are trained and certified through us. These are tests and hours that we cover at our expense.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Gymnastics Instructor at Dubuque Dance Studio & Gymnastic Club located in Dubuque, IA. The Gymnastics Instructor will be responsible for teaching gymnastics classes, providing instruction on proper technique and form, organizing and leading activities, and ensuring the safety of all participants. Even though we have a janitorial service, you are responsible to maintain your area, including the reception area. The Gymnastics Instructor will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Education and Gymnastics skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in teaching gymnastics or related physical education activities
- Ability to work well with children and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Certification in gymnastics or relevant field is a plus
- Experience in customer service or working with children is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
