Position Summary
Duck Donuts is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Shop Team Members. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Order Preparation: Prepare and customize donuts according to Duck Donuts’ standards, including frying, coating, topping, and drizzling.
- Beverage Preparation: Create a variety of hot, iced, and frozen beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, and milkshakes.
- Cash Handling: Operate the cash register accurately, handle transactions, and provide correct change to customers.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the kitchen, serving area, and customer seating area. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and smooth shop operations. Assist with training new employees as needed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and informing the manager of any shortages.
- Promotional Activities: Support the rollout of promotional campaigns and limited-time offers by staying informed and communicating them effectively to customers.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain equipment (e.g., donut fryer).
