Swimming Pool Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of swimming pools and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of pools to assess water quality and equipment functionality.
• Perform pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Maintain pool equipment by troubleshooting issues and performing necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper chemical balance in pool water through testing and treatment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each visit.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in pool maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in repair and maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is a plus.
