Position Highlights:
- Full-Time, 40 hours
- Hours: Monday-Friday; hours vary

- Organizes, delegates and coordinates all the daily activities of the Sleep Center
- Maintains and supervises staff in the appropriate and consistent cleaning/sterilization of equipment, accessories, and work areas.
- Coordinate staff technician and technologist competency check-offs and continuing education and training
- Hires, orients, and trains staff. Conducts performance appraisals, coaches and disciplines staff. Ensures work expectations, DMG and Practice policies are communicated and responsibilities are understood. Seeks guidance and support from Pulmonary Practice Manager in managing staff.
- Ensure all center’s personnel have been trained in infection control and basic CPR
- Monitors and maintains center’s productivity. Responsible for assessing work against expected outcomes: productivity, quality, timeliness. Tracks and trends work outcomes. Recommends improvements in work processes.
- Maintains standards in accordance with American Academy of Sleep Medicine regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, evaluation of customer satisfaction, and quality improvement process
- Participates in the center’s marketing and public education.
- Performs Polysomnographic Technologist duties as required.
- Ensures all the Center’s policies, procedures, and protocols are in writing and current
- Patient Satisfaction: Responds to patient complaints and works to resolve. Appropriately involves the Practice Manager if resolution cannot be reached
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory or lead capacity in a sleep center required; Three (3) years preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a RPSGT required; Five (5) years preferred
- Knowledge of normal cardiorespiratory, neurological, and sleep physiology
- Strong organizational, verbal, and communication skills
- Demonstrate significant work ethic through a positive, motivated attitude.
- Ability to adapt in rapidly changing environment
- Ability to understand complex relationships
- Good computer skills
- Associate’s degree required
- Graduate of a Polysomnographic Technology Program required
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required
- BLS certification required
Salary : $58,250 - $87,375
