We're seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Support Specialist to join our healthcare IT team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth technical operations across our healthcare facilities, supporting the daily use of critical systems and equipment. This is an onsite role supporting clinics, hospitals, and medical offices—best suited for individuals who value precision, consistency, and clear expectations in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and medical equipment in clinical environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with clarity and thorough documentation.
  • Maintain and inspect systems through routine updates, virus scans, and equipment checks to ensure uptime and compliance.
  • Install and configure devices, from PCs to networking hardware, with precision and adherence to process.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to escalate complex issues, following structured resolution paths.
  • Maintain accurate service records, asset tracking, and documentation according to organizational standards.
  • Support inventory management by organizing stock, ordering parts, and tracking usage trends.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control standards while working in healthcare environments.
  • Participate in ongoing training and process improvement discussions to deepen technical knowledge and refine workflows.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Keen interest in technology with a desire to grow within healthcare IT.
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and a methodical approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a field-based setting.
  • Comfort communicating with healthcare professionals in a calm and service-oriented manner.
  • Basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $24.02-$36.03/hr, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
