What are the responsibilities and job description for the Before and After School Teacher position at Duneland Family YMCA?
- Implements curriculum within the established guidelines.
- Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans.
- Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.
- Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
- Conducts parent conferences, maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents. Engages parents as volunteers.
- Maintains program site, equipment, and records.
- Follow emergency procedures and safety precautions. Follow procedures for reporting all accidents, incidents, and hazards.
- Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.
- it is highly preferred instructors be able to work Monday-Friday one or both shifts: Before school care is from 5:55 am – 8:15 am; After school care is from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
