Summary: A general fabrication helper to perform the general needs around the fabrication department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Grind steel with a hand grinder (4 or 7 or 9)
Assist with loading trucks
Assist with loading steel in the shop
Help keep the shop clean (General housekeeping)
Previous experience operating a forklift and overhead crane is helpful
Previous experience tack welding would be helpful
Competencies:
Read a tape measure
Operating machinery
Operating hand tools
Ability to follow directions
