Dunn Paper is in the market for a Maintenance Manager to be based in Wiggins, MS. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for using the principles of performance evaluation and prediction to facilitate the improvement of safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability of physical assets.

Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to establish a reliability and predictive maintenance mindset for our paper machines using the principles of performance evaluation and prediction to facilitate the improvement of safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability of physical assets, through:
- Use of leading and lagging performance metrics and asset failure history to identify asset performance issues
- Development and continuous improvement of asset strategies and tactics based on reliability principles
- Developing a data-based decision-making culture where improvement opportunities are identified and prioritized using data. Data is used to understand root causes and development of optimal solutions
- Provide basic training in Maintenance principles
- Drive the successful implementation of reliability improvement initiatives
- Work with the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Team to drive this initiative
- Generate and utilize leading and lagging performance charts and metrics to identify and analyze losses to priorities opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and quantify reliability cost savings, increased production and/or equipment life cycle
Essential Skillset, Education/Qualification, Certification Attainment:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience within paper manufacturing and setting up preventative maintenance programs
- Strong fundamentals in application and must be able to establish programs from scratch
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineer degree qualified
- Ability to provide direction to lesser experienced Engineers/Planners
- Basic Microsoft office skills such as Excel
- Strong decision-making skills
- People orientated
- Problem solver and a doer
- Paper industry preferred, but Power/Steel industry also has relevant auxiliary equipment
