Description
Primary Duties:
Responsibilities may vary daily with a goal of being known to the student a week in advance.
- Faculty Support as needed
- For example, helping to setup labs, fabricating demos, and assist faculty in a lab based class
- Improvement projects for the School of Engineering as directed
- For example, collaborating with faculty to improve lab layouts, lab procedures, or utilization
- Specific tasks as requested
- Abide by all Dunwoody College of Technology policies
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at Dunwoody College of Technology within the School of Engineering and registered for at least 12 credit hours
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA minimum
- Must be in good standing within the School of Engineering
- Must work an agreed upon schedule after or around classes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to initiate communications with faculty and follow up as required
- Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
- Maintains a professional demeanor with Students, Faculty, and Staff
