TCHS will pay a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for a qualified candidate after six months of completing a CDA program and an additional three months of successful employment. The offer is for external new hires only.

Preschool Teacher 2: Full Time, 35 hours a week, Part-Year, August to May.
This position serves in a classroom to provide an appropriate social and emotional environment to expand children’s ability to learn, grow, and build trusting relationships. This role works in a classroom-based setting with typically and atypically developing children and provides daily supervision and support for children’s developmental needs.
Salary: The hourly wage range is $16.71 to $23.71.
The minimum requirements for this position are;
- Must be 18 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Willing to obtain CDA within six months of hire. Tri-County Head Start will provide opportunities for training support to get a teacher’s qualification, including CDA support and coaching.
- Criminal background check required for hire
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working in early childhood with children ages birth through five years and holding:- A higher education degree OR
- Early Childhood college coursework, OR
- A current Preschool CDA
TCHS supports continuing education toward a BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education.
