Host / Hostess
Are you ready to be a part of the bustling Downtown Sarasota atmosphere? Do you excel in mingling? Like the idea of hosting your perfectly planned evening? Then you have the talent Duval's Fresh. Local. Seafood needs. As a Hostess/Host you are the first impression our guests will experience. You will greet guests as they enter and be the first impression on their experience. Guest engagement is a must.
This is an opportunity to experience a fast-paced successful restaurant and build a strong foundation in the hospitality setting. Exposure and Training in an award winning restaurant with opportunity to explore other restaurant concepts in addition to other roles within the restaurant. Competitive compensation at above market value. Starting pay $17 hourly, based on experience.
F/T and P/T hours, all shifts available. Opportunity at Duval’s Fresh. Local Seafood located in downtown Sarasota.

Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
Ability to command a room with great flair.
Team-player mentality a must!
Basic understanding of OpenTable reservation program preferred.
At least one year hosting in a restaurant preferred.
At least eighteen years of age.
