Duvera's client, a high-end boutique firm that specializes in commercial disputes, mass torts litigation, and personal injury litigation is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) personal injury trial associate.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate you will assist Senior Associates and Partners in managing cases. Depending on your experience, you may have your own docket of cases as well.
- Maintain client relationships throughout the legal process
- Develop strategies in complex disputes
- Interpret and summarize legal documents
- Negotiate with outside parties on legal disputes and contractual issues
- Appear in a court of law, arbitration, or other judicial tribunal on behalf of the firm’s client
- Utilize knowledge of civil law principles and their application
- Understand research methods, rules of evidence and conduct of court proceedings
- Effectively deliver legal information in a workshop setting, hearing, or courtroom
- Present statements of fact, law, and argument clearly and logically in written and oral form
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Offering a base salary of $145-$165K plus incentives, full benefits including 401(k), free parking
